Caller ID

Overview

Display your Caller ID or remain anonymous by hiding your Caller ID phone number from being sent to others when calling.

Notes:

  • Caller ID can't be hidden when calling certain numbers such as 911 and toll-free numbers such as 866, 800, etc.
    • Their operators may still see your Caller ID.
  • You cannot call Sorenson users who have enabled the Don't Accept Anonymous Videophone Calls feature if you hide your Caller ID.
  • The caller may have enabled Hide My Caller ID on their phone if you received call from someone with "No Caller ID"

Enable Hide My Caller ID

ntouch Mobile iOS
  1. Tap Settings.
  2. Enable Hide My Caller ID.
ntouch for Mac
  1. Select ntouch > Preferences > Personal.
  2. Check the box for Hide My Caller ID.
ntouch PC
  1. Select Settings > General.
  2. Check the box for Hide My Caller ID.
ntouch VP2
  1. Select Settings > Device Options  > Privacy/Notifications.
  2. Check the box for Hide my caller ID?

Did you know

  • iOS devices only:
    • Enable Integrated Calling Enabled in Settings within ntouch Mobile app to use Apple's Contacts as Caller ID instead of contacts in ntouch Mobile app.
    • You may see multiple contacts with the same phone number during incoming calls. 
      • Remove the duplicate contact from Apple contact associated with the same phone number.
