Overview
Enable Voice
- Select Settings > Call Options > Voice & Call Audio.
- Check the box for Use my voice in my VRS calls.
- Check the box for Use a different phone number for VRS calls.
- If selected, enter a call back phone number of the voice telephone you will be using.
Troubleshooting tips

The hearing person cannot hear me
- While in a call, turn on the microphone through the in-call menu.
- Bring up the in-call menu.
- If the microphone has a slash, that means it is off. Press OK on the microphone to remove the slash to turn it on.
- Ask the interpreter to disconnect and reconnect VCO.
- Ask to be transferred to a different interpreter.
- While in a call, turn on the microphone through the in-call menu.

I cannot hear the hearing person I am talking to
- Turn up the volume on TV, desktop computer, or mobile device.
- Ask the interpreter to disconnect and reconnect VCO.
- Ask to be transferred to a different interpreter.

VCO call does not automatically connect
- Enable VCO.
- Add a contact for the hearing person you are calling or is calling you.
- Edit the contact for that hearing person.
- Check the box labeled “Use VCO?” on their contact page.

The voice was dropped in the middle of a call
- Ask the interpreter to reconnect VCO.
