Pairing Bluetooth devices instructions

Overview

Instruction to pair Bluetooth devices. To find the Scan for devices button, on the ntouch VP2, open the Device Options settings to the Bluetooth setting,

Geemarc Headset CL7400BT

  1. Hold the power button on the Headset for 3 seconds (it should begin to blink blue) 
  2. Select Scan for devices 
  3. Select the Pair button for the device you want to connect to the videophone
    • If you see a dialog that says the connection failed, select the Try again button in the dialog to restart the pairing
  4. When your device is successfully paired, the power button on the headset will stop blinking and will stay lit
  5. Return to the Home screen by pressing the Home key on the remote control. Your selections will be saved

Logitech Keyboard K480

  1. Set the keyboard’s On/Off switch is in the On position (on the base)
  2. Turn the selector dial to channel 1 on the keyboard
  3. Hold down the PC connect button for 3 seconds
  4.  Select Scan for devices
  5. Select the Pair button for the device you want to connect to the videophone
    • If you see a dialog that says the connection failed, select the Try again button in the dialog to restart the pairing
  6.  You will then see a pairing request dialog
  7. On the Bluetooth keyboard, type the code shown in the dialog to complete the pairing process
  8. You may need to press the enter key on the keyboard
    • An error will display "Pair my Bluetooth device: Sorry, Keyboard K480 did not pair with the videophone" for the following reasons:
      • Enter key on the keyboard was not pressed. 
      • Incorrect code was entered.
  9. You can have more than one keyboard paired and connected at a time
  10. The green checkmark next to the device name shows that the device is currently connected
  11. The right side of the screen now shows a list of Saved/Paired Bluetooth devices

Sorenson Pulse

  1. Connect the power adapter to the power port on the Pulse device.
    • All of the lights in the Pulse device will flash briefly.
  2. Briefly press the radio pairing button on the backside of the Pulse device.
    • The blue light on the back panel will blink.
  3. Select Scan for devices.
  4. After a few seconds, the ntouch VP2 will detect the Pulse device.
  5. Select the Pair button to connect the Pulse to the ntouch VP2
  6. If the Pulse device is able to successfully pair to the ntouch VP2, you will then see the name of the Pulse device (for example, SVRS Pulse) under "saved/paired Bluetooth devices" with the blue checkmark to the right side of the device name.
